PUTTING ONE OF NEVADA'S BEST KEPT SECRETS ON THE MAP

At Nevada’s eastern edge, White Pine County sits at the intersection of history, the arts and an active mountain lifestyle. Offering world class outdoor activities and festivals, this area is known to locals as one of Nevada’s “best kept secrets.”

In an effort to boost the local economy through tourism, East River PR & Marketing was hired to plant the idea of Ely as a stop along US Highway 50 well worth exploring.

We started brainstorming the best story angles, outlets and voices to tell this story. Our plan focused on the unique aspects of White Pine County such as moutain biking, garnet hunting events and astro-tourism and included an heavy influencer component which garnered local and national media attention.
